I have always listened to my heart and believe that when you choose your hobby as a career, not a day feels like you are working as you enjoy every moment of what you do!
My culinary philosophy centers on simplicity, seasonality, flavour, and sustainability. I collaborate with local suppliers to create dishes that showcase Wellington’s rich seasonal produce as we evolve and keep our menus fresh. One of my signature dishes features in our recently launched new menu being our ‘Paua Ravioli with 24-carat edible gold, leek cream, Granny smith remoulade, walnut crumble, prosciutto powder and Pernod sauce.’
My vision for Jardin Grill is to transform it into a ‘Casual Luxury Dining’ destination. ‘We have created an elegant setting with rustic influences such as an open copper kitchen being the heart of Jardin Grill. This inspires a menu defined by a flame grill, apple-wood rotisserie oven and charcuterie, bringing a sense of unity and intimacy between guests and the chefs.’
I am very proud of leading such a talented team where we hand-craft our own pastry items for breakfast lunch, dinner, and banqueting.
Reflecting on my 15-year journey, I’m grateful for the support of my family, my husband, and my daughter, who inspire me daily. My goal is to leave a legacy that encourages my daughter to follow her dreams.
